Hi, there! My name is Sarah, I love photographing New Orleans Newborn Photography and I help mamas create beautiful, custom artwork of their newborns without feeling stressed or uncomfortable in the process!
I simply adore pampering my new moms and help provide a stress-free, full service photography experience for her and the whole family!
I will guide you through the details of natural posing, provide a stunning wardrobe to browse through (it makes you feel like a princess!), and hold your hand through the process of selecting your very own heirloom artwork so you can enjoy your time and bring home the most breathtaking pieces of art that hold the beauty of your mama memories.

The Experience
of a Luxury Motherhood Session
I am SO glad you are here, mama! We are going to have such a sweet time together, getting to know each other, relating to one another--mom to mom! I am passionate about providing new mommies an elegant, feel-beautiful photography experience without the stress of doing it all yourself! Say goodbye to dark and outdated studio pictures! Say hello to light and airy, chic, and beautiful portraits!
Step One
- first, it's so lovely to meet you! We will start by arranging a virtual, face to face consultation, and see if we are a perfect match!
- listening to what YOU envision for your session
- selecting a gorgeous photo location of your choice
- wardrobe planning and styling
- viewing samples and planning ideas of which heirloom products you love best!
step two
- photo day has arrived! We will meet at the select location for picture taking
- After your session is over, we will arrange a date to meet for your viewing & ordering appointment
step three
- we will meet again for your premiere viewing & ordering appointment! You will get to sit back, relax, enjoy a cup of coffee while you view your beautiful portraits on a slideshow made just for you!
- next, you will get to select your favorites and I will help you choose the right portraits for the dream albums, luxury prints, and wall art that you desire!
- I will do all of the ordering and designing FOR you! No need to spend hours of your precious time finding a professional lab, designing an heirloom album, ordering your collection of prints...this is where I take over and help you to relax and enjoy yourself!
step four
- after you place your order of beautiful heirloom artwork, I will get to designing your pieces! It will be about 8 weeks until they are ready for hand delivery.
- once your custom portraits are ready, I will hand deliver the gorgeously wrapped artwork to you!
- Your portraits are ready for cherishing, hanging, and loving for generations to come!

Why I Call Myself A Motherhood Photographer
Hi, I'm Sarah Finicle! I am a wife and a mom to one baby in heaven and a toddler here on earth! As a busy, stay-at-home-mom of a daughter under 2 years old, I understand that being a mom is, well....HARD! Being a mama is the best thing in this world, but it is also the hardest job in the world. I had a difficult pregnancy and birth, and an incredibly difficult postpartum. I am not sure how I got through it all, except by the Grace of God and the love and support of all my loved ones. It was so important and crucial for me to have the care and support of my family and friends during such a stressful and overwhelming season of life, I believe it greatly attributed to my wonderful healing.
My heart goes out to every single new mom out there, whether you just had your first baby, whether it was natural or medicated, whether you are experiencing postpartum depression, whether your pregnancy and birth was smooth & easy, with or without complications, whether you are a second or third time mama, or an older mom with kids who have flown the nest......I want to serve & help you feel just a little better and less stressed by giving you love, attention, pampering, and a wonderful experience for you to receive gorgeous images of your family that you deserve!
